As a Software Engineer you are responsible for designing IT software:

As a Software Engineer within the Mobility Infrastructure business unit, you will be responsible for the analysis, design, programming and testing of software components that are used for intelligent traffic systems and smart mobility.

Responsibilities: 

• Together with the technical team, you will be responsible for developing the infrastructure mobility software requested by the customer
• You analyse the specifications requested by the customer and convert them into a solution
• You provide the necessary input to arrive at a technically feasible solution and are responsible for the programming, testing and documentation
• You make the necessary adjustments to existing applications
• You report to the technical lead software development & project manager

Why you are the Software Engineer we are looking for:

• You have a higher education degree (bachelor or master computer science, industrial engineer or comparable technical education)
• You have proven experience in software development
• You have experience with the usual tools that are part of the software development process
• Atlassian Tools (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence...), Continuous Integration...
• You have a strong interest in or experience with one or more Opensource technologies
• Linux, Apache, Nginx, C, Golang, Python, PHP, Angular, MySQL, Mongodb
• You are driven to design the best application for the customer
• You are a team player
• You are fluent in Dutch and English; skills in French are a plus
