The camera team at Macq is looking for an experienced software developer. You’ll be working in a young and enthusiastic team and contribute to the embedded software of the Macq smart traffic camera family. The Macq cameras are equipped with state-of-the-art NVIDIA GPUs and run various deep learning modules for: detection and reading of license plates, make and model recognition, colour recognition and many others.

Software Developer Camera

Brussels, Belgium

As a Software Developer you will :

  • Work with other developers to design algorithms and flowcharts
  • Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications
  • Integrate software components and third-party programs
  • Train and deploy deep learning modules as well as integrate third-party modules
  • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software
  • Recommend and execute improvements


Why you are the Software Developer we've been looking for:

  • You have a Master degree in Computer Sciences or Software Engineering or you are equal by experience
  • Have a proven track as a Software Developer, Software Engineer or similar role
  • Some experience in computer vision applications and embedded software development is an added value
  • Knowledge of coding languages: C++, Python. Knowledge of Linux Kernel is an added value
  • OS : Linux Ubuntu
  • Experience with SQL Databases
  • You are dynamic and proactive, open to share experience and knowledge
  • You have the necessary perseverance and excellent problem solving skills
  • You are hands-on, goal driven, and have excellent communication skills
  • You have a flexible way of working and adapt yourself to the constraints
  • You have a natural talent for teamwork that drives your team to excellence. But also have the ability to manage tasks independently
  • As a Software Developer, you are fluent in French and/or Dutch and have a good knowledge of English
